All regional open/nature shows are available to all athletes.
Participating in a Pro Qualifier does not qualify you to participate in another Pro Qualifier.
What is a Beginner/True Novice or Novice? Please refer to the class definitions that follow. Juniors and Masters will be checked at registration and strictly respected.
You can add additional classes/categories to your current listing by refilling the online form on the website. Please use the same details as when you originally signed up so that you don’t get charged twice for your frosting.
True Novice – means that a competitor has never competed in the NPC Worldwide
Novice – means that a competitor has never, during the current year, won an overall or his class with at least 3 athletes in it
Junior – An athlete who is under 23 years of age at the time of the competition.
Masters +35 – An athlete who is 35 years of age or older at the time of the competition.
Masters +40 – An athlete who is 40 years of age or older at the time of the competition.
The judges will look for competitors who are in good shape, who display good symmetry combined with musculature and good overall condition. It’s not bodybuilding, so extreme musculature will be penalized.
Participants will be asked to walk in swim shorts (shorts must be just above the knee and can be one inch (2.54cm) below the belly button, no spandex shorts and no logos are allowed on the shorts, however the manufacturer’s logo such as Nike or Billabong symbols are acceptable.) The competitors will enter the stage barefoot and torso. No obscene acts allowed, (e.g. moon setting). No gymnastic movements are allowed. The judges look for the candidates with the best presence and balance who can successfully convey their personality to the audience.
